Information We Process

We process account details, authentication records, subscription and billing identifiers, user-submitted drafts, generated rewrites, voice profiles, usage records, support communications, security logs, and audit events.

How We Use Information

We use this information to provide rewrite features, save workspace history, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, secure accounts, debug production issues, and improve service reliability.

AI Providers

User drafts and rewrite instructions may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate or refine output. Do not submit content unless you have the rights and authorization to process it through the service.

Billing Providers

Payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe. HumanScribed stores billing identifiers and subscription state, not full payment card numbers.

Email Providers

Email verification and password reset messages are sent through the configured email provider. These messages contain single-use links and basic account context.

Security Logs and Audit Events

We collect request metadata, account-security events, billing events, and operational error reports. These records are designed to avoid passwords, tokens, cookies, drafts, and rewrite output.

Retention

Account records, saved rewrites, voice profiles, subscription records, and audit events are retained as needed to operate the service, meet business requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Expired tokens, stale rate-limit data, and old operational records are periodically pruned.

Data Requests

Authenticated users can export account data and request account deletion through supported account controls. Some records may be retained where needed for billing, security, legal, or abuse-prevention purposes.
